Simtel Team, leader in renewable energy in Romania, through the Romanian Association for Green Energy and Sustainable Development (AREVDD), together with the Carmistin Foundation, announces the completion of the implementation of a photovoltaic plant for the Piticii Veseli Association in Prundeni, Valcea county. The project carried out by the two entities aimed to support the Piticii Veseli Association in reducing the operational costs of the location in Prundeni by implementing sustainable solutions to protect the environment in the long term.

Ana Nedea, President of AREVDD:

“Through our social responsibility initiatives, we want to make a real difference in disadvantaged communities and create a better environment for the people who need support the most. Such shared commitment motivates us to innovate and invest in solutions that bring economic benefits and contribute to the community’s overall well-being. By implementing the photovoltaic plant at the Piticii Veseli Association, we save energy and bring a positive change in children’s lives. Together, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to a fairer and brighter future.” .”

The photovoltaic plant recently installed in Prundeni has a capacity of approximately ten kWp and comprises 22 solar panels covering an area of 43 square meters. This will produce approximately 11,081 kWh of electricity annually and will cover 85% of the energy needs of the location where Piticii Veseli Association operates. Thanks to the photovoltaic plant, carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by more than five tons annually.

Andra Paraschiv, President of the Carmistin Foundation:

“Our joint project with the Simtel team is part of the series of social responsibility projects that we have been running in recent years through different entities of the Carmistin Group, dedicating resources to social, educational, humanitarian, and volunteer support actions, especially among children living in the communities where we operate and beyond. We thank all the children who reward our involvement with their smiles and make us aware of the needs of those around us. Thanks to them, we can promote together the kindness and spirit that always holds us together.”

The Piticii Veseli Association is a haven of hope for distressed children and mothers, offering them a safe space to find solace and support. Currently, the association is a home for children between 7 and 14 who need protection and a chance for a better future.

Simtel and the Carmistin Group have been successfully collaborating since 2021 in implementing social responsibility projects. The two companies have carried out numerous such projects, including installing photovoltaic plants with a total power of 4.4 MWp in 13 prosumer locations.
