Simtel (BVB: SMTL), an engineering and technology group listed on the Main Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and one of the leading national players in the renewable energy sector, announces the consolidation of its management structure through the appointment of Petre Stoian as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Simtel Team S.A., the Group’s main company responsible for engineering, design, and execution of energy projects (EPC).

Under Mihai Tudor’s leadership, Simtel has gone through one of the most dynamic periods in its history, recording accelerated growth and expanding its activity into an integrated ecosystem of companies active in the fields of energy, technology, and infrastructure. The appointment of Petre Stoian as CEO of Simtel Team will allow us to continue developing the company’s EPC segment, while maintaining strategic coordination at the Group level. In his new role, Petre Stoian will be responsible for consolidating Simtel’s EPC activity as a benchmark of engineering excellence by leveraging the experience and professionalism of the existing team and by developing an organization focused on performance, innovation, and technology.

Petre Stoian has more than 18 years of experience in the energy sector, having held top management positions in companies such as Enel, Delgaz Grid, and Electrocons Group, where he coordinated large teams and major investment projects. He graduated from Politehnica University of Timișoara – Faculty of Energy Engineering, holds a master’s degree in Energy Engineering, and an MBA from the Bucharest Business School. His professional background also includes international executive programs at ESMT Berlin and Duke University, as well as ANRE certifications.
