The new Simtel Team visual identity, a manifesto for a green future

Bucharest, 6 October 2021 – Under the motto “Empowering a green future”, the company Simtel Team (Stock Symbol: SMTL)the leader in Romania in the construction of photovoltaic power plants, completes the rebranding process and launches its new image, which aims to update the brand’s mission – existing on the market since 2010 – in the awareness of various types of interested audiences, from investors and business partners to the press and the general public.

“From the day we founded the company with my colleagues, we set out to put technological progress at the service of nature. The more accessible and widespread renewable energy systems become, the more we all contribute to protecting the planet by reducing carbon emissions. The new visual identity of the company expresses, in a synthetic visual form, the fusion between technology and nature, through a small shrub created from photovoltaic cells. This symbol brings together all 3 Simtel Team business lines: renewable energy (the set of cells), industrial automation (through the photovoltaic cell, the result of engineering) and telecommunications (the way cells communicate with each other). In addition, the formation of a functional whole in a cell system reflects team spirit and cohesion, values that are representative of our company, which make information flow quickly between the various specializations within the organization, so that our response is always prompt and efficient, to any of our partners”, said Iulian Nedea, CEO and co-founder of Simtel Team.

“The manifesto underlying this new visual identity expresses a call for energy independence, addressed to all companies that are willing to take measures to protect the environment and at the same time benefit from more efficient consumption, bills and predictability in terms of energy costs. Romania is one of the countries that benefit from solar energy for a good period of the year, enough to cover a third of the electricity needs, but which remains dependent on coal, the main source of air pollution. Our new slogan – “Empowering a green future” – expresses the fact that we give companies the power to generate a green future themselves, using the technologies we make available”, said Sergiu Bazarciuc, COO and Co-founder of Simtel Team.

The new visual identity will also become visible on the official website www.simtel.ro, where the manifesto for a green future will be integrated, so that all companies that explore possible solutions and want to adhere to the long-term vision of Simtel Team, to always have the ecological argument and the major impact on the environment that they can have through the use of solar energy.

The new Simtel Team visual identity is created by Alexandru Neculae, a branding specialist with 15 years of experience, who synthesized the Simtel Team vision in a visual language that sets in motion the manifesto for a green future.

Listed on July 1, 2021 on the Aero market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), Simtel Team announced in the fall of this year an increase of 30% for the first six months of 2021. Of the total turnover, renewable energy projects represent 79% , as a result of the growing demand for these types of solutions.
