Simtel Team installed the panels on the roofs of two Kaufland stores located in Bucharest and Focșani, with a capacity of 490.5 KWp. On the roof of the store in Bucharest, 720 photovoltaic panels were installed, on an area of over 1300 square meters, and on the roof of the location in Focșani, 588 panels were installed, spread over an area of over 1000 square meters.
The annual production of electricity produced by the two stores will be 639.8 MWh, of which 358.5 MWh will be generated by the store in Bucharest and 281.3 MWh by the one in Focșani.
„Photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of buildings, built for own consumption, are an effective solution for reducing the energy bill and protecting the environment. The two turnkey projects were completed in 2 and a half months and were based on clear requirements from the beneficiary. We thank those at Kaufland for their trust in their implementation. We thought of the solutions and the planning so that two teams built the plants in parallel, on both locations. Romania must capitalize more and more on solar energy, because this is a real solution for reducing pollution and thus improving the quality of life, but also for the efficiency of energy consumption, energy independence for the beneficiary and the predictability of energy costs ,” said Iulian Nedea, co-founder and CEO of Simtel Team.
Currently, Simtel Team is designing the construction of 3.5MW of photovoltaic power plants, totaling over 9300 photovoltaic panels. Of these projects, seven will have an installed power between 400-500 KW. Simtel Team is also working on the implementation of smaller photovoltaic projects with an installed capacity between 80-120 KW.
